As neurologists we are specialised in diagnostics and in the treatment of diseases of the central and peripheral nervous system as well as muscles. Special interests are in clinical neurophysiology – this includes NCS, EMG, EPs – and in neurological ultrasound. Ultrasound of nerves and muscles is one of the most important and exciting developments in the field of neurology during the past years and adds important Instrumentarium in diagnosing disorders of nerves and muscles and in ultrasound guided nerve blocks treating nerve pain syndromes. Another area of special expertise are primary muscle disorders.
Of course we also consult on common neurological problems including headaches, dizziness, tremor and seizures. We are equipped to offer all treatments for Multiple Sclerosis. The full complement of neurodiagnosic testing is available through our office. Besides neurophysiologic tests such as electromyography and nerve conduction studies (EMG/NCS), this includes electroencephalography (EEG), evoked potentials (EPs), and neuromuscular ultrasound as well as vascular ultrasound (brain supplying arteries).
